  THIS IS NOT A PIE SHOP!!!!!! AVOID
  If you want a pot of chewy meat in some gravy with a bit of puff pastry that tastes of noting then you should visit here. These are not proper pies! Strangely enough their take away pies are made with proper pastry all round. When we mentioned this to staff they were very unpleasant indeed! The next two tables felt the same too! The mash potato tastes like it's from a packet!
  Poor drinks and expensive for what it is!
  Just because an establishment has been there for a long time does not make it good!

  Definitely "NOT" just a pie shop!
  I went to the restaurant with my brother, as a Birthday treat.
  These were undoubtedly the best pies we have ever tasted. I had a traditional steak, kidney and mushroom, whilst my brother had Rabbit pie, accompanied with a mixed vegetable dish and a choice of mash potato, chips etc.
  If you don't have a big petite, or do not fancy a pie, there are plenty of other choices on the menu, and the desert menu is to die for!
  There is a wide range of alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages.
  We had to book, and I can now see why; as table space is limited due to the quirky layout of this medieval building, but this quirkiness gives the dining room, a quaint, welcoming, warm, and cosy atmosphere.
  We were served by the lovely Emily, and Georgia, who were; professional, warm, welcoming, and knowledgeable. They delivered a relaxed, excellent service.
  And at the end of our meal, we found it very reasonably priced.
  The service charge was not included, so you have to decide how much to give. We were also, very happy to hear that all of the service charge is given to the serving staff!
  My brother and I instantly agreed, that the minimum of 15%, was an absolute starting point, for such attentive, wonderful service!
  What a beautiful jewel in the Lincolnshire crown. A marvellous, family run restaurant, which we cannot recommend highly enough!
  Not to be missed if you get the chance, easily 5 star........

  Awesome food and I advise you go! Friendly service and a warm and cosy feel to the restaurant!! Only downer is that every time we go we try and order the 'RABBIT PIE' and it is literally never available. Please either order more for your loving customers or just take it off the menu. Other than that I love this place
